Shop Timer is designed to help you track shopping-trip duration without requiring an account or collecting personal information. The Service Provider does not collect, upload, sell, or retain personal data through normal use.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Shop Timer mobile application and related services operated by Tomasz Stankiewicz (the “Service Provider”). It explains how privacy is handled when you use timers, trip history, statistics, saved stores, reminders, and preferences in the app.
Shop Timer does not collect, log, or store personal information through normal use of the app. Registration is not required, and the Service Provider does not create user accounts or personal profiles.
Shopping-trip history, saved store names, timer preferences, reminder settings, statistics, and similar app information may be stored locally on your device so Shop Timer can function. This local information is not collected by the Service Provider.
If the app is used with an active internet connection, ordinary technical protocol data such as a temporary IP address may pass through network infrastructure to establish connectivity. The Service Provider does not retain that data for tracking, profiling, or advertising.
Because Shop Timer does not collect personal information through normal use, the Service Provider does not sell, rent, or share app-user personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Shop Timer does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device for tracking, profiling, or advertising purposes.
If you enable reminders, the app may use notification permission so your device can display reminder alerts. Vibration feedback may also be used locally when timers start or finish. These features are not used by the Service Provider to build an advertising or behavioral profile.
The Service Provider does not retain personal data from Shop Timer on external servers because the app does not collect or upload that personal data through normal use. There is therefore no server-side personal-data retention period for ordinary app activity. Information saved locally on your device remains under your control for as long as you choose to keep it there.
No server-side personal-data retentionSince the Service Provider does not keep your Shop Timer personal data on external servers, there is normally no remote user record to delete. You can remove local trip history, saved stores, and other locally stored information through available in-app controls, by clearing app storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. If you separately contact the Service Provider and voluntarily provide personal information, you may request deletion of that correspondence.
Local data can be removed from your deviceNot collecting personal data on external servers substantially reduces privacy exposure. No software or device environment is completely risk-free. If a security incident ever affects personal information that you voluntarily provided outside normal app use, the Service Provider will respond as required by applicable law.
Privacy risk reduced by local-first storageShop Timer is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children through normal app use.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by publishing a revised policy with a new effective date.
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider outside normal app use and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
